The University of Southampton Malaysia is going to organize the "International Conference on Green Energy, Computing and Intelligent Technology (GEn-CITy 2024)" in collaboration with the IET, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) China, UCSI University Malaysia, between 11th December 2024 to 13th December 2024. Further, the theme of the conference will be Clean Energy and Intelligent Technologies for a Sustainable Future. The aim of the GEn-CITy 2024 is to serve as a forum for engineers, researchers, and specialists from academia, research centers, and industry worldwide to discuss and present the latest developments and applications related to the challenges of securing clean and sustainable energy sources for the 21st century to protect the environment. GEn-CITy main areas of interest include but are not limited to Green Computing, Communications and Networks, Green Energy and Power Systems and Smart Grid, Intelligent Systems and Sensors, Green Materials, Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee (OC), I welcome you to GEn-CITy 2024. The OC is actively planning the conference and will be updating this website with information as it becomes available. This will include information on keynote speakers, workshops, and panel sessions. Paper presentations as a part of the technical program will continue to develop as submissions are received and reviewed for final submission.

With so many exciting and interesting developments in the field of green technology today, we hope that GEn-CITy 2024 draws insights encourages collaboration from many disciplines and backgrounds, and makes a difference in the world through the sharing of innovative ideas.

A. Conference Proceedings: 

Peer-reviewed and accepted papers of the conference will be published as proceedings with IET Conference Proceedings. The proceedings will be included in the IET Digital Library and IEEE Xplore and indexed by the Ei Compendex and IET Inspec. All authors should use the IET Proceedings Template for submission.

B. Extended Journal Papers

Selected papers will be given the opportunity to publish an extended version in TBA
